At Simodi Emeralds we have been mining and trading emeralds for the past 35 years. Involvement in the industry, we have been a significant player in the mineral extraction business in Somaliland. Throughout the years, we have expanded our operations, taking significant steps towards sustainability and efficiency.
Between 1993 and 2025, SIMODI uncovered a substantial array of emeralds and other gemstones, extracting approximately 2,000 kilograms of emeralds. These Emeralds were sold to cutters in India.
